Last week, Billy Leroy, the outspoken owner of Billy's Antiques, a stalwart of sorts on Bowery and Houston, said he was pissed that his new neighbor Keith McNally hadn't come over to say hello after invading the Bowery with his sleek tiles, unisex bathroom, and pizza bouncer. He emailed Eater last night to let us know Keith came over to his shop to say hey:
Correction He did not come into the store but came over to our side of Houston St. I recognized him and said are you Keith? Yes and he was upset about those cruel things I said about him to the Villager, but I assured him it was a little of Ye Olde Bowery humor and we finally said hello and shook hands. I thought to myself....as the world turns so do the days of our lives...And the Bowery lived happily ever after.
