1) Midtown: The first plywood signage at Steve Hanson's Bill's Bar & Burger is up! The opening for this giant Midtown location of his MePa hit is scheduled for this summer. [PLYWOOD]

2) East Village: EV Grieve notices some new signage for Tallgrass Burger, the new grassfed burger shop that's opening in the old Elvie's Turo Turo space. [PLYWOOD]

3) Upper West Side: The West Side Independent reports that David Ruggerio, the owner of Lanksy's and Bomboloni on the Upper West Side is opening a Mexican bar and restaurant called Jalapeño at 77 West 68th Street: "The new restaurant is expected to open in June and serve ceviches, tamales and more, according to documents filed with the community board."
