A Look at Hecho en Dumbo, Opening Tonight on the Bowery

And now for the newest addition to the Bowery 2.0, Hecho en Dumbo. The well loved and heavily frequented Mexican pop-up restaurant in Dumbo has finally completed its jump across the river to the old Marion's Continental space and plans on opening to the public tonight at 5:30. The narrow, spare space features plenty of exposed brick in the 68 seat dining room, a decent sized bar, and seating over by the open kitchen in the rear. What's coming out of that kitchen? Expect authentic Mexico City fare from tacos to queso fundido, queso oaxaca, mole, barbacoa, and Wagyu beef tongue served with chile poblano sauce. Expect brunch and lunch in the coming weeks.
