Year-Old Lusso Shutters on Sad Soho Corner

From the tipline: "It looks like Lusso, on the cursed SE corner of WBway and Grand, is finally closed. Paper over the windows. No sign in the door. Soho never really needed another Italian place but its always sad to see nice guys go down." Calls to the restaurant go unanswered, and the restaurant has been taken off OpenTable. It's sad that this little neighborhood spot seems to have met its end, because a) it was only a year old and b) it seemed to have some traction on the Yelp.

That said, it is kind of a craptastic corner and the neighborhood has more than enough places for spaghetti carbonara and veal Milanese.
