2010_03_reis100.jpg1) Upper West Side: From the tipline: "Walking past UWS wood-fired pizza restaurant Bettola tonight, I saw a sign that said 'closed until further notice' in the window but it was unclear why." An answering machine at the restaurant says they're closed for the weekend. [ShutterWire]

2) East Village: EV Grieve shares the news that Falafel Star on 7th Street near Avenue B is closed. [EVG]

3) Park Slope: Fork in the Road reports that Reis 100 the sandwich shop adjacent to Bar Reis in Brooklyn is closed after just seven months in business: "A few of the offerings were very tasty, and came on quality bread, but they were too dainty to be good bar food." [FitR]

4) Williamsburg: Downtown Diaries notices that Hope Lounge has been closed for over a week. The owners renewed their liqur license recently, so the hope is they're just renovating. [Downtown Diaries]

5) Harlem: Uptown Flavor reports that Cheesesteak Factory on 7th Ave. is closed. It was closed by the Marshall last month and now For Rent signs grace the windows. [Uptown Flavor]
