Guss' Pickles Officially Leaves the LES, Heads to Brooklyn

New, 2 comments

Bowery Boogie notices that, as planned, Guss' Pickles has left the Lower East Side after existing in various forms under various owners for over 90 years. The current owner Pat Fairhurst is moving her operation to Borough Park but, due a bitter trademark dispute will not bring the Guss name with her. Her new shop is called Ess-a-Pickle. The Guss' name is now under the control of Andrew Leibowitz—an heir to the United Pickle fortune—who could possibly open a new Guss' on the LES in the future.
