BLOG DEALSDeadline learns that Ree Drummond's food blog, the Pioneer Woman is being developed into a major motion picture. For those unfamiliar, Drummond is a former big city gal who moved to a ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and writes about trying to maintain the gourmet lifestyle out in the sticks. The project is being developed by Colombia Pictures for Reese Witherspoon. That's a fine casting choice but Sandra Bullock was clearly born to play this role. [Deadline via Eater National]

MIDTOWN EASTLa Fonda Del Sol is launching a monthly class on Spanish wine. Classes will take place every second Monday of the month from 6:30 - 8:30 PM in the private dining room. It runs $45 a person and involves the tasting and discussion of six wines plus tapas from Josh DeChellis. The first class is on April 12. [EaterWire]
