Subject: Blatant Overbooking at Otto

——

I settled for a 10pm reservation on saturday night, because nothing earlier was available. When I arrived starving at 10pm, I asked the hostess working the opentable computer, how long the wait would be, and I was told 10-15 minutes. A half hour later, I asked the same hostess again and was given the usual bull shit story "Your table has paid already- we are just waiting for them to get up". I then repeated my question ; "How long?" and was told 5 minutes. After another 10 minutes I asked a different hostess and was told 5-10 minutes. After waiting till 1045pm and being constatnly lied to about how long our wait would be, with no end it sight, we decided to leave. I understand that restaurants sometimes fall behind, but this was not the case. Otto obviously overbooks, lies to its customers, and could not give it a shit about it!

There are so many better pizza and pasta places- please avoid!!
