Iron Cheffage

Apparently Iron Chef is a huge phenomenon with our soldiers serving in Iraq. When some soldiers have some downtime, they split off into groups and participate in their own version of Iron Chef, using c-rations. The rules and time restrictions are just the same as on the show, as is the importance of the always tricky secret ingredient. Says one participant: "I was happy with all the ingredients, but we just couldn't figure out how to use the spaghetti noodles." [Ft. Leavenworth Lamp via Eater National]
