Keen's Steakhouse; Thursday, 7PM

New, 2 comments

Welcome to our photo series, where Eater photographer Daniel Krieger visits some of the city's iconic restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Keen's Steakhouse.

Midtown: For this edition of Eater Scenes, we head to iconic NY Institution, Keen's Steakhouse. Visit Keen's at 7PM on a Thursday evening and you'll witness the above scene: the legendary meat and single malt mecca begins its dinner rush. Servers deliver saucières brimming with bearnaise, tie-clad bartenders peruse the pricey scotch, and diners slice into prehistoric-sized steaks beset by vintage artifacts from old-fashioned smoking pipes to taxidermy.
