1) Gramercy: Grub Street confirms that Michael Huynh's BaoEmpire has just expanded with the addition of Baoguette & Thao Noodle this past Friday. Expect rolls, noodles and, of course, banh mi. Status: Certified Open. 241 Third Ave., 212-228-5500. [GS]

2) Upper East Side: As previously reported, Danny Meyer is opening pop-up cafe, Sandwiched in the Whitney Museum of American Art. TONY's The Feed lists it in it openings today although doesn't look like its open just yet. Status: Scheduled to open on Thursday. Whitney Museum of American Art, 945 Madison Avenue; 212-570-3600. 3) Financial District: Beta Coffee recently opened on February 11th, and according to Downtown Diary, each cup is "ground and french pressed just for you." 4) Midtown East: Grubz reports that yet another location of Magnolia Bakery has opened today in Grand Central Terminal. Status: Certified Open. Grand Central Terminal, 15 Vanderbilt Avenue (42nd Street & Park Ave.) 212-340-2583. [GS]

5) Williamsburg: Brownstoner reports that a new cocktail spot just down the street from the new Pies 'n' Thighs called Dram soft-opened this weekend. Some intriguing details: "Tom Chadwick, who crafted some of the cocktails at Rye, is running the show with Theo Peck in the kitchen. If Chadwick's boozy Mai Tai, piled Snow Cone-high with pebbled ice, or Peck's chicken confit nuggets with spicy mayo are any indication, this place has a lot of potential." Status: Soft Open. 6) Midtown East: Launch Stalker reports that Chado, a new sushi spot, is now open and serving raw fish in a pretty snazzy atmosphere. Meanwhile some early reviews have surfaced over at Zagat. Status: Certified Open. 4 E. 36th St. between Madison & 5th Ave, 212-532-2210. [Launch Stalker; Zagat]
