A couple of weeks ago, haggis lovers rejoiced when news broke that the 20 year importation ban on the Scottish, um, delicacy, had been lifted in the US. Not so fast! The Agriculture Dept. has called such reports incorrect. The ban on UK beef and sheep may be reviewed this year, but even if changed, the USDA still bans foreign food made with lungs (which most traditional haggis contains). [BBC via LAW]
