2010_02_hoarder.jpgA cast iron obsessive and East Village hoarder wants to create "Museum of Hearth and Kitchen." It would "trace the history of premodern cooking, from the stone-age until about 1950, with exhibits, re-enactments (like Conestoga wagon cooking) and an on-site restaurant where chefs prepare meals using bygone techniques." Of course, until that happens he's just a 68 year-old pot collector with an 850 sq. ft apartment filled with 7,000 pieces of cookware. [WSJ]
