Marc Jacobs Conquers The Entire 18th Floor Of Standard

Fashion icon Marc Jacobs can cross another item off his bucket list, as his Fashion Week after-party was the first event to conquer the entire 18th Floor of the Standard Hotel New York in the Meatpacking District. The most famous penthouse in New York features two separate bars, the infamous Boom Boom Room and its less used but hot tub having neighbor, the Black Bar. To our knowledge, the two spaces have never been used for one event, so who better than MJ to be the first. The event's DJ, Mike Nouveau tweeted the news and even gave the Black Bar a fun new name, saying, "the Marc Jacobs after-party has taken over the entire 18th floor of The Standard, both the Boom Boom Room and the Tub Club!" There is no confirmation that anyone actually splashed down in the tub (too hot!), but there were spare bathing suits (and condoms) in the bar's vending machine just in case.
