Yesterday, when the current operators revealed they would close the Fraunces Tavern restaurant on Saturday, they said they were unsure whether or not a new operator would take the space. Good news! A rep for The Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York tells Newyorkology that indeed a new entity will run the restaurant and that it will be closed for just a week for the transition.
