The Times' new list of the 110 topics that New Yorkers talked about this year includes things like Ricky Martin coming out and the results of Project Runway. But they also list the KFC Double Down Sandwich, the death of Elaine Kaufman, the rebirth of Don Hill's, and Four Loko. Though as Gawker astutely points out, New Yorkers only really ever talk about five things, "1. How much better New York used to be. 2. How much better New York is than anywhere else. 3. Rent. 4.
