What you see above is either a scene from Grand Theft Auto: K-Town Nights or the new renderings of The Ember Room, one of at least two Todd English Productions coming to New York in early 2011. Check out those Asian characters, that gold (bell covered?) ceiling! Kind of Ninja meets Kobe Club meets Buddakan.

The 140 seat restaurant will offer an American twist on Asian barbecue and will open in either late January or early February (the current tentative date is Jan. 20). The renderings come from the restaurant's official website that also includes a must-watch video of the two consulting celeb chefs on the project, English and Ian Chalermkittichai.
