Inside Williamsburg's Crif Dogs, Opening Early January

New, 11 comments

[Krieger, 12/21/10] For the past seven months, the good folks behind the East Village's decade old hot dog spot Crif Dogs have been working tirelessly to open a new branch on the opposite side of the East River. And now the debut approaches. Partner Jim Meehan tells Eater that the new opening date is January 10, and between now and then some more detailing work will go into the above space, which already includes two working video games, a hot dog mosaic, and a display of collector, vintage skateboards. As for the menu, expect the same classic and oddball dogs and snacks as Brain Shebairo's original (see the menu above) plus some goodies for the morning commuters heading to the L train just steps away. This branch will offer Intelligentsia coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

When they open, they'll serve dogs from 7 AM - 1 AM during the week and until 3 AM on weekends.
