Brooklyn kitchen store, cooking school, and butcher shop The Meat Hook is doing a ridiculous thing. Every Saturday, they set up a tiny table across from the meat counter and allow two people to pay $50+ for an all you can eat and drink brunch with four to twelve courses. As Grub Street points out today the brunch is booked six months out. What they don't mention: the first course served recently to a couple was a glass of Pepsi and a slice of chicken pizza bought at a slice joint the night before. Served with a paper towel and hot sauce. Other dishes include beef bacon sandwiches and milkshake martinis. [Gs]
