Flo Fab reports today that Marcus Samuelsson's long awaited and long promoted Harlem restaurant Red Rooster will open to the public this Friday, after about a month of preview events. It will initially open for dinner only but will soon debut lunch—with a $16 prix fixe—and breakfast. The upper floor contains a dining room, bar, and open kitchen, the lower floor, a private dining room and performance space.

Click through here or look on Scribd for a full screen view of the menu, which includes a pairing of lobster salad and a corn dog ($14), meatball sliders ($5), lox and caviar ($14), pork shoulder ($26), Fried Yard Bird ($17), and desserts like Black Bottom Peanut Pie ($8). Andrea Bergquist, Samuelsson's chef from Merkato 55, will run the show.
