Aby Rosen Plans Two Restaurants for Gramercy Park Hotel

In an interview with Aby Rosen in the Times this weekend, the owner of the Gramercy Park Hotel insists he and ex-partner Ian Schrager are still friends though admits the split was due to colliding egos. More importantly, Rosen shares new plans for the hotel, saying, "We’re adding two new restaurants and a whole bunch of new services, and we’re changing the aesthetics."

It's unclear what's planned, but with Josh Pickard—he of Joe’s Pub, Locanda Verde, Lure Fishbar, Chinatown Brasserie, and the soon to open The Dutch—as the food and beverage director, Danny Meyer on the scene, and the Roof Club and Garden potentially in the mix, it's an exciting thought.
