Protesters Accuse The Continental of Racist Door Policy

On Friday evening, a group organized by The ANSWER Coalition picketed outside of the East Village bar and former venue Continental, protesting the bar's alleged racist door policy. Trigger Smith, the bar's owner logically explains to the Local they he's not racist, he just has a door policy: "I’m not going to be politically correct and just let anybody in...It just so happens that more people of a certain minority wear these things than others...But I don’t want white trash either, or Jersey Shore boys." Well it's settled then. Time to dismantle the Boycott Continental Facebook group.
