New, 1 comment

UPPER WEST SIDE—Diner's Journal reports that restaurateur Stephen Starr is opening a restaurant in the New York Historical Society sometime next year. The restaurant will be Italian, the average check will be $35 a head. The chef is unnamed, and the ceiling will feature Keith Haring's ceiling mural "Pop Shop." [DJ]

LOKOWIREEddie Huang writes in with a clarification: "the NY Daily News misquoted me. I told the writer really clearly that the party was still going on but that I would change the special from all-u-can-drink to something else. We're doing $3/Four Loko at the bar." A Facebook event page has been created, Huang also penned a blog post about the incident today. [EaterWire]
