UPPER WEST SIDE—Diner's Journal reports that restaurateur Stephen Starr is opening a restaurant in the New York Historical Society sometime next year. The restaurant will be Italian, the average check will be $35 a head. The chef is unnamed, and the ceiling will feature Keith Haring's ceiling mural "Pop Shop." [DJ]
