The Post reports that, after years of expansion rumors, Southern Hospitality is opening a second branch in Hell's Kitchen at 9th Ave. and 45th St. The Upper East Side barbecue space is owned by Trace Ayala and Eytan Sugarman and was originally put on the map by its famous investor Justin Timberlake (who is supposedly no longer involved?). Per the Post, "The two-level eatery and lounge will be twice the size of the original on Second Avenue at 76th."
Also of interest: internet wine sensation Gary Vaynerchuk is hopping into the brick and mortar game and will be in charge of the wine list. What better person to decide which vino will pair best with you ribs, deep fried pickle chips, and chicken and waffles.
