Last week, the News reported that Danny Meyer is opening his first ever Brooklyn Shake Shack in the Fulton Street Mall. His reps have yet to put out their boilerplate release, but already there's a press conference scheduled! That's because Brooklyn Borough prez Marty Markowitz would never let a plumb PR opportunity like this????Shack burgers in Brooklyn—pass him by.

Tomorrow Markowitz and Meyer (and his henchmen Randy Garutti and David Swinghamer) will dine on Shackburgers on the steps of Borough Hall. And it will be lovely. That is all.
