In September, word spread that popular Lower East Side restaurant The Meatball Shop was looking to expand somewhere downtown. Grub Street hears they're now eying a space on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. The owners say they'd love to open in the area but have yet to sign a lease or acquire a liquor license.
