WEST VILLAGE—In December, Murray's Cheese will begin selling the first Mangalitsa hams from North America retail. Mangalitsa, for those who don't know, are those super fatty wooly pigs that offer super dark, sweet, and juicy meat. It sells for $50 a pound, will be available to sample tomorrow and for sale in a couple of weeks. They'll also be selling and sampling American Wagyu Bresaola from Salumeria Biellese and DeBragga and Spitler. It goes for $75 a pound. Update: Nevermind: they're both for sale now. Get to it.
