Cesar Ramirez Hiring Someone Else to Deal with Customers

New, 6 comments

A week after Brooklyn Fare chef Cesar Ramirez came under fire for reportedly going completely bonkers on a note-taking diner, the tiny restaurant is now hiring an “Marketing Events Coordinator” to handle all matter of customer relations. From a Craigslist job posting, responsibilities include:

Manage reservations and customer relations for Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare
Work with the chef and owner on marketing and other event materials
Develop and execute private parties and events business
As needed, work on press and other marketing initiatives
Create events related content for website
This is, by all accounts, a brilliant move for team Brooklyn Fare. Now that they’re pulling not one, but two Michelin stars, it only makes sense to have someone else there to pick up the phone, pencil in reservations, kindly and calmly explain the “three rules,” etc.
