6) Cobble Hill: Brownstoner reports that the former Cafe Mei-Mei space at 231 Court St is turning into a sandwich shop called Van Horn. [PLYWOOD]

7) West Village: A tipster reports that a Berlin-based Currywurst chain opening a NY outpost in the old Red Mango location on Bleecker: "There is a small garden in the back but would doubt they have a liquor license...Says opening Fall 2011.
