1) Nolita & Soho: A tipster send in new shots of the new Socarrat outpost coming to 284 Mulberry St. and the plywooded exterior of The Dutch from Andrew Carmellini. [PLYWOOD]

2) Midtown West: Midtown Lunch brings word that an outpost of Piccolo Cafe, a panini and espresso shop in Gramercy, is building out at 40th St between 7th and 8th Aves. [PLYWOOD]

3) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie posts photos of La Crepe C'est Si Bon, a creperie coming to 115 Eldridge St that's been in plywood since May. [PLYWOOD]
4) Midtown: Midtown Lunch posts billboard signage for The Earl of Sandwich, a growing sandwich chain in the vein of Quiznos, coming to midtown Manhattan next year. [PLYWOOD]

5) Midtown West: A tipster writes in to say that Hudson Station, a new giant (read: three floors) sports bar is coming to the southeast corner of 35th St and 9th Ave. There's a separate slider menu and already, a 4-star Yelp review. [PLYWOOD]

6) Cobble Hill: Brownstoner reports that the former Cafe Mei-Mei space at 231 Court St is turning into a sandwich shop called Van Horn. [PLYWOOD]

7) West Village: A tipster reports that a Berlin-based Currywurst chain opening a NY outpost in the old Red Mango location on Bleecker: "There is a small garden in the back but would doubt they have a liquor license...Says opening Fall 2011. Either that's a misprint or an incredibly long lead time for a relatively small space." [PRE-PLYWOOD]

8) Lower East Side: Grub Street reports that Cocoron a new soba joint is coming soon to 61 Delancey on the LES. [POST-PLYWOOD]
