1) Midtown East: A reader writes in, "I walked by a neighborhood favorite today and saw that Subtle Tea was gone!" Any news on why the abrupt departure? It was always filled with students and those guys behind the counter had been there forever!

2) Flushing: Another tipster reports, "Xiao La Jiao, aka Little Pepper in Flushing. I went by there last night for dinner, only to discover that they were closed!
