Get 'Global Jewish' Fare at Octavia's Porch in 10 Days

Top Chef alum and former chef/owner of the shuttered Soho restaurant 24 Prince Nikki Cascone is getting back in the restaurant game with Octavia's Porch on lower Avenue B. She says that it will be "the city's first culturally Jewish restaurant with a sophisticated approach to feature global tastes and flavors." So, it will be Jewish. There will be gefilte fish, there will be challah, there will be matzoh in all shapes and sizes. But! It will also have nods to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Northern Africa, and South America. And, she says it's just the first concept to come from her newly formed Printz Group.

The restaurant opens on November 29. See the current draft of the menu below.
