Caroline Fidanza Scores Cookbook Deal for Saltie

New, 2 comments

Publishers Marketplace reports that Caroline Fidanza, the former head chef at the Diner/Marlow empire and current founder and owner of Saltie sandwich shop in Williamsburg, scored a book deal. The book will be called Saltie: 75 Recipes for Sandwiches, Salads, and Soups, Sweet and Savory Treats, and More, and according to the blurb, it was a "very nice deal." The sandwich operation has no beer, no wine, no bathroom, and is only open until 6 PM every day. What it does have: a sizable following and an impressive roster of sandwiches and snacks.
