In the great big world of Fall Tracking, Asellina in the Gansevoort Park Hotel isn't really up there in the Ai Fiori, Red Rooster, or The Dutch camp. But it's no small potatoes either. The restaurant is a new Italian venture from the people behind MePa's STK and The Collective, and it will be helmed by Sardinia native and Vegas transplant Marco Porceddu. From the renderings, the place looks a little clubby—it is a Gansevoort restaurant after all. The menu isn't completed but sample items include stuffed olives with roasted veal, suckling pig pizza, and bitter cocoa pappardelle with wild boar and nutmeg.
It opens to the public on December 1.
