Laurent Gras, famed Chicago chef, confirmed that he is officially out at his restaurant L20 just days after the Michelin Guide awarded him a coveted three star ranking. He tells Food & Wine that he's moving to New York to work on an unnamed project.
The move is not really a surprise given the fact that he went on a "break" from the restaurant two weeks ago and that his wife lives in New York. That said, the owner of L20 Rich Melman, was surprised when Eater Chicago caught up with him last night to ask him about the potential move. Heard of where he's been scouting locations? You know where the tipline is.
