Subject: What's Wrong With the Windsor?
_____

A friend and I headed to the Windsor on Sunday to watch the early NFL Games (Jets and Dolphins respectively). Everything was going OK until about 4:00, when someone came over to our table and told us we would have to get up because someone had a reservation for the table. Two odd things about that. First, both of the games were still going on and the Jets game had just gone into overtime, making it an odd time to ask your customers to leave.

Second, we had stopped by the night before and tried to make a reservation, but were told that you can only make a reservation for parties of 6 or more. To make sure we got a table, my friend arrived as soon as it opened and they sat us at a 4 top. After we complained, a manager came over and we repeated that we had tried to make a reservation but were denied, and she told us that they don't have any policy on party size and asked who we had spoken with. Funny enough, the guy we had spoken to the night before was working at the time, so we pointed him out.

The manager then gave us her card and told us to call her anytime if we needed anything, but it turned out that she had just given us the restaurant's card that is available at the front. Meanwhile, we had spent about $200, the games we were trying to watch weren't over, the late games hadn't even come on the TV's, and the people who worked there won't leave us alone even though it was their fault for not knowing their own policies. Thankfully both our teams won and we left. Guess we won't be going back there anytime soon.
