Another vague shutter update today. Press people for the shuttered restaurant Veritas write in to confirm a long held Eater rumor that restaurateur Sam Hazen—you may remember him from a little place called Tao—is taking over the restaurant. Veritas will reopen in November and will "be more accessible, offering à la carte and bar menus." It will serve contemporary American food and will feature an "approachable" wine program, with plenty of bottles under $50. And it will have a new, more open design. Good for them.
