This week Sam Sifton awards one star to Geoffrey Zakarian's The Lambs Club in the Chatwal Hotel. He says it reminds him of Sardi's: "There is in both restaurants a kind of purposeful embrace of the neighborhood’s past at the intersection of show people and investors, aw-shucks tourists and savvy New Yorkers. The food is better at the Lambs Club, though, at least for the moment."
