Tomorrow Burger & Barrel, restaurateur John McDonald, Josh Pickard, and chef Josh Capon's follow up to Lure opens in the old Centovini space on West Houston. Centovini's sleek, minimalist design was stripped down completely and built back up as this almost moody but inviting, dark paneled and tiled restaurant with a kind of Old California/60's basement vibe. It's touted as an American pub, a real neighborhood spot. On the menu, find four burgers, steak, pork shops, fried chicken, a couple of tacos, and some salads, meatballs, and a ceviche thrown in with classics—brownie sundae, cheesecake, apple fritters—rounding out the dessert menu.
