1) Upper West Side: Construction is continuing at Michael Psilaki's new venture Fish Tag. Designer Jerry Caldari says they are making the most of the long narrow space. The area will include a large bar for dining as well as a long chef's style table where appetizers can be prepared in front of the guests. They hope to be open in two to three weeks. See the construction shots above. [PLYWOOD]

2) East Village: EV Grieve posts a facade shot of the upcoming King Gyro on 1st Avenue between 4th and 5th Streets. [PLYWOOD]
3) Williamsburg: From the tipline: "There is a new bar opening near the corner of Roebling and Grand Street. There is a neon sign in the window that says Midway Brooklyn. Any relationship to Club Midway in Greenpoint? The interior looks not unlike a 1970s rec room... dark and woody." [PLYWOOD]

4) Park Slope: ZagatBuzz brings word that signage is up for Comida, a Mexican restaurant headed for the cursed space at 230 5th Avenue. [PLYWOOD]

5) Upper West Side: ZagatBuzz also reports that Sojourn owner, Stanton Du Toit will be opening a new restaurant, Tolani, which will serve "global comfort food" that is intended to be shared.[PLYWOOD]

6) Park Slope: Brooklyn Paper has news of more openings in Park Slope. South Brooklyn Pizza will be opening up another location on 4th Ave while 7th Ave will be getting a new bakery called King of Cupcakes. [PLYWOOD]
