Welcome back to the weekly Friday Shutter. Know of any other restaurant that has met its demise? Let us know.
1) Greenwich Village: A tipster reports: "Ennio & Michael has [finally] locked its doors wt 3 big 'Thank You' signs." The 32 year-old restaurant was forced to close after its landlord, New York University, raised the rent by 30 percent last year. [ShutterWire]
2) Park Slope: Fucked in Park Slope reports that La Taqueria, a staple of sorts in the area, has closed for good. The shutter comes just a week or two after the restaurant was closed by the Department of Health, so it could definitely be related. Luckily for fans of the restaurant, the takeout window is still open. [FiPS]
3) Midtown: Midtown Lunch notes that Kushi Q, a Japanese fast food yakitori spot on 3rd Avenue between 45th and 46th, has closed. [ML]
