3) Williamsburg: Some plywood intel from the tipline: "Don't think I've seen this posted on the site yet, I spotted new place on N.5th and Berry in Williamsburg, sign was being painted called Mode Bistro. It's on the same block as Egg." [PLYWOOD]

4) Midtown: Midtown Lunch discovers a Macchiato Espresso Bar will be opening a second location soon in the Rockefeller Center area. ML says they have both good coffee and sandwiches and salads. [PLYWOOD]

5) Williamsburg: Another Williamsburg plywood tip from the inbox: "New place opening on Saturday on South 1st & Roebling in Williamsburg, Uruguayan food. Not sure what it will be called, something like Tabacar...the guy had a heavy accent." [PLYWOOD]
