Happy Endings

2009_12_voxpop.jpgVox Pop, the political Ditmas Park coffee shop and community hub, has reopened once again. It was seized by the tax man last month—about a year after it was shuttered for an extended period by the Health Dept.—but investors were able to pony up the $10,000 in fees. Former owner Sander Hicks, who neglected to pay the bills in the first place, raised most of the money by selling his shares in the shop. [BP; previously]
