Taking a Look at Chesapeake Bay Themed Choptank

As mentioned in yesterday's opening report, Bobby Werhane (former partner in Dell'Anima and L'Artusi) and Josh Morgan (Houston's alum) opened their restaurant, the curiously named Choptank in the old Bar Q space last night. the Chesapeake Bay themed seafood spot is headed up by Chef Matthew Schaefer (formerly of the Mermaid Inn and Le Bernardin), and serves an under $25 menu of fish, crab cakes, chowders, peel and eat shrimp, and steamed clams with a fried chicken, steak, and cheeseburger thrown in for good measure. It's just a day old, so please, send all early reports this way.
