Park Ave Winter Team Turning Porcao into Polynesian Spot

New, 8 comments

Just a week after learning the crew at Dutch Kills will be turning the East Side Company Bar into a tiki spot called Painkiller this March, Flo Fab reports another cheeky revival is in the works. Michael Stillman and chef Craig Koketsu of Park Avenue Winter are taking over the giant Porcao space on Park Avenue South and turning the former churrascaria into a Polynesian themed restaurant called Hurricane Club (mahalo on the name guys). AvroKO will design the 250 seat space, which will feature "tropical drinks, pu-pu platters, Hawaiian poke and ribs." And a trend is born.
