Dept. of Health Takes Out UWS Starbucks for Entire Weekend

New, 5 comments

A number of tipsters wrote in over the weekend to report that the high traffic Starbucks on 86th and Columbus was hit by the Dept. of Health by 5:30 on Friday afternoon. From the inbox: "The Starbucks at 86th and Columbus was shuttered by the DOH, with yellow stickers posted on both entrance doors. On both Saturday and Sunday, there was a dude standing outside directing customers to other Starbucks in the neighborhood. The nearby Joe the Art of Coffee on 85th and Columbus snatched most of the displaced customers—it was apparently solid packed all weekend." Nice break, Joe. And S'bucks, you can't win 'em all.
