2) Flatiron: A tipster report: "The retail space across from my apartment on West 22nd b/w 5th and 6th, which was briefly occupied by the bar Catch-22 (and before that, Prey Lounge), will be opening on 9/9/09 as a cafe/bistro called Sagaponack. 3) East Village: EV Grieve learns that the owner of Theater 80 on St. Mark's Place will be opening a nautically themed cafe called William Barnacle Scott in the former concession area. There will be no TV, no juke box, and it will close at 6 p.m. daily. [PLYWOOD]
4) Midtown: Midtown Lunch gets little update on the second Manhattan Baja Fresh: "We are hoping to open 41st and Broadway in mid Sept, tentative date is Sep. 14th. We are also bringing the Nacho burrito and Queso Fundido to NYC due to popular demand, as well as whole wheat tortillas.
