Cheap Eats: Michelin Adds 31 Restos to Bib Gourmand List

New, 2 comments

The 2010 Michelin Guide has released its list of Bib Gourmand restaurants, the restaurants the anonymous inspectors found to provide a "recession-proof dining solution." That means two courses plus a glass of wine or dessert for under $40. As is the case with other mainstream publications' "Cheap Eats" list, there are a few questionable additions. Prime Meats, DBGB, Momo Ssam, and Ed's Lobster Bar may not break the bank, but can the average diner get out with 3 courses for under $40? Perhaps the red guide reviewers did. They added 31 new affordable restaurants this year, making the group 85 strong. Click through for the full list.
