Real Estate Moves and the Tenuous State of Gusto

Some recent real estate listings have brought new doubts to the future of Gusto, Sasha Muniak's Greenwich Ave. Italian spot. Both Gusto's current building, 60 Greenwich Ave., and the one it had long planned on expanding into, 62 Greenwich Ave., are for sale. Not that big of a thing really. So Sasha will get a new landlord and a new lease. But there is a funny thing. Last we heard, he owned both buildings.

Also, check out how these spaces are listed. On 60's listing, it advertises "3 recently renovated residential apartments and 1,300 s/f of retail space." 62's calls the building a prime commercial development opportunity, noting that it "is vacant and zoned for retail, restaurant, and office use." Is Muniak looking to bail? Selling the buildings at this time seems about as strange as when the chef at his other restaurant, Centro Vinoteca, left with no job lined up. All intel is welcome as we await comment from the restaurant, as is the requisite follow up from Muniak's gf over at PXThis.
