Freemans Planning Spotted Pig-Like Private Party Space

Lower East Side: A Freemans insider sends word that the uber-hip LES restaurant has something fun in the works. After finding a new location for the restaurant's office, originally kept on the second floor of the restaurant's building, owner William Tigertt is planning on revamping the space and turning it into a hangout and private party space a la the third floor of The Spotted Pig. Boom. Who knows if it will have a similar celeb draw (perhaps it will be the Grizzly Bear to the Pig's Jay Z), but it doesn't matter. Freemans Upstairs will be sexy as all get out.

Tigertt confirms that something is in the works but won't give the full reveal until he meets with the community board next month. Stay tuned.
