Fall Tracking: Abe & Arthur's Reveals Itself to Food Industry

New, 13 comments

Anticipated MePa restaurant/lounge Abe & Arthur's has been hosting parties in the old Lotus space since the beginning of Fashion Week, but last night was one of the first times it opened its doors to a huge food industry crowd. As the host of the afterparty for StarChefs—an industry trade conference that culminated in a gala last night—the newest spot from the team behind Tenjune and chef Franklin Becker welcomed in personalities like Cesare Casella, Amanda Cohen, George Mendes, and a huge cadre of present and former Top Cheffers.

It's quite the looker, with a large and dark front bar area, a light and open dining area with strategic mirror usage and a mural featuring the faces of the owners' grandfathers, and an upstairs mezzanine, bar area and private dining room. Co-owner Eugene Remm told Eater they've followed up the Fashion Week parties with extended friends and family dinners and hope to open on October 4.
